Programs | CECP Corporate Philanthropy Summit - June 3 & 4, 2008 in New York City

OVERVIEW

Often called one of the premier events each year for corporate giving professionals, the 2008 CECP Corporate Philanthropy Summit convenes the leaders in this field from the world's largest companies to discuss the important trends, success stories, and giving priorities affecting corporate philanthropy.

At the Summit on June 3rd & 4th in New York City, CECP will reveal the first look at giving data and trends for 2007, based on the findings from the CECP Corporate Giving Standard benchmarking study.

Throughout the two days, discussions will be led by CEOs, senior giving practitioners, as well as representatives from government agencies, academic institutions, consulting firms, media, and nonprofit organizations on relevant issues in corporate philanthropy.

This event is only open to CECP members and CGS subscribers.

PARTICIPANT FEEDBACK

"As always, the CECP Summit was well-executed - relevant topics, good balance of practical versus visionary speakers, comprehensive materials, and plenty of opportunities and structure to encourage networking."
- Gail Gershon, GAP Foundation

"This event included a wide range of topics from CEO leadership to collaboration and partnerships to volunteerism. The quality of the speakers was excellent, and it was particularly insightful to hear from CECP Directors, CEOs who truly understand the value of corporate philanthropy to their business success."
- Christopher Montross, Aetna Foundation

"The Summit was wonderful - I learned so much that I have already applied to my work. Thank you for putting together such a meaningful agenda and we most definitely look forward to participating in the future!"
- Joy Cianci, Fannie Mae Foundation

"Thank you for one of the best meetings I’ve attended in years. The thought leaders and practitioners created tremendous value for my colleagues and I, as we are often narrowly focused on discerning and evaluating corporate giving programs. The CECP Summit provides an excellent opportunity to share knowledge with peers in the field, to ultimately help us elevate our programming."
- Mary Beth Carroll, FirstEnergy Foundation
