Each year, participating companies complete the Corporate Giving Standard (CGS) survey on the details of their philanthropy programs. The survey includes nearly 30 questions about a company’s corporate giving data — a useful assessment for any giving professional aiming to better capture and measure corporate philanthropy at his or her company. The typical CGS survey cycle begins in January with an early April deadline.  Survey questions are also useful in determining what metrics are most important for your company when benchmarking against peers.
