Programs | Excellence in Corporate Philanthropy Awards - February 26, 2007

OVERVIEW

Since 2000, CECP's Excellence in Corporate Philanthropy Awards have been presented annually to companies demonstrating outstanding CEO leadership, innovation, dedication to measurement, and partnership in corporate philanthropy. CECP created the Directors Award in 2004 to recognize a nonprofit organization that has distinguished itself by building an effective partnership with a company in its community. The Directors Award includes a $25,000 cash donation made by CECP Directors to the honored nonprofit.

Business leaders, Chairpersons, and CEOs representing the world's most generous corporations gather at CECP's annual Excellence Awards Luncheon on National Corporate Philanthropy Day to congratulate the winners and to hear the CEOs of the awarded companies speak. Over 120 CEOs, industry leaders, and press representatives attend the annual event.

HOW TO APPLY

CECP member and non-member companies are encouraged to apply for these prestigious awards; nonprofit organizations must seek nomination from a corporate partner. Applications, criteria, and deadlines are posted each fall on the CECP web site.
