Under a New Lens: Corporate Philanthropy in a Changed Economy

The eighth annual Corporate Philanthropy Summit took place at Time Warner headquarters in New York City on June 2-3, 2009. 250 senior corporate giving professionals joined CECP for two days of thought leadership, unparalleled networking, best practice sharing, and emerging dialogue on the relevant issues that shape corporate philanthropy today. The 2009 Summit  focused on the theme: “Under a New Lens: Corporate Philanthropy in a Changed Economy.”

As we enter a new era of corporate giving, one that places greater emphasis on business rigor and the alignment of community investment with corporate objectives, practitioners face the extraordinary prospect of shaping not only their global and local philanthropic programs, but also helping to redefine their company’s relationship with far-reaching constituents.
