Shaping the Future: Pathways to 2020

June 2-3, New York City

Each year, CECP brings together its membership of senior corporate officers from the world’s most influential companies for two days of thought leadership, unparalleled networking, best practice sharing, and dialogue on the industry’s most relevant issues. This year’s CECP Summit will challenge a blockbuster lineup of CEOS, leading thinkers, and top corporate giving officers to consider what the world—and the environment for corporate philanthropy—could look like in the year 2020 if we proactively adopt a solutions-oriented mindset on local and global social issues.

The 2010 agenda features:

  • Legendary keynotes. Known as the father of modern corporate strategy, Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter will share his groundbreaking work on how philanthropy and business strategy converge through “shared value.”
  • Leading CEOs. CECP brings together more CEOs than any other industry conference. This year they’ll tackle the role of business in solving social problems, and how to integrate you corporate culture into giving strategy.
  • New research. CECP and McKinsey & Co. will share a hot-off-the-press report on the top trends affecting corporate community investment. What can you do now to prepare for 2020?
  • Networking and candid conversation. The conference is limited to senior giving professionals. Closed-door breakout sessions provide interactive opportunities to hear from peers on what works and what doesn’t in bringing innovative ideas to fruition.
  • CECP Excellence Awards. CEOs from this year’s three winning companies and winning nonprofit will share the stories of their programs and answer audience questions, followed by an evening celebratory reception.

The conference is limited to CECP members and subscribers (2 attendees per company), and there is no cost to attend. Use the links at left for more information. To register, visit: CorporatePhilanthropy.org/Summit.

CECP gratefully acknowledges this year’s sponsors: General Electric Company, Macy’s, Inc., Microsoft Corporation, Newman’s Own Foundation, The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc., State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company, and The Travelers Companies, Inc.
