Global Celebrations
Partner organizations celebrate International Corporate Philanthropy Day (ICPD).

Partner organizations of CECP around the world celebrate ICPD with media outreach, communications to their members, events, and more. A sampling of these activities from ICPD in 2011 is listed below.
- Admical, France's first corporate philanthropy association, celebrated ICPD for the second consecutive year by issuing an ICPD press release detailing the philanthropic involvement of companies including Accenture, BNP Paribas, HSBC, IBM, KPMG, Renault, and Orange in the area of education. In addition, the French railroad company SNCF Foundation announced an initiative to construct primary schools in Haiti. Admical will feature news of ICPD in their magazine, Entreprises & mécénat, issued to subscribers on February 28, 2011 and will highlight ICPD on their website homepage, www.Admical.org and reach their constituents through social media.
- Comunitas, in Brazil, launched a campaign to increase awareness of ICPD in their business community by sending a press release explaining the goals of the day and the importance to Brazil and reaching out to local media outlets. Comunitas also sent an email to their network and highlighted the day on their website.
- Entrepreneurs Foundation launched an international giving initiative to offer companies a way to further engage in global health internationally and recognized companies' initiatives through case studies. Read the Entrepreneurs Foundation blog post on ICPD.
- VolunteerMatch urged CSR practitioners to leverage ICPD to build awareness or participation within their programs (Read the blog post) and featured the events of ICPD in their monthly email.
- Council of Michigan Foundation issued a press release for ICPD recognizing the generosity of funders including Quicken Loans Inc. of Detroit, Kellogg Company, Steelcase Foundation, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and Consumers Energy Foundation.
- Salzberg Global Seminar, which challenges present and future leaders to solve issues of global concern, featured ICPD in its February newsletter.
- US Chamber's Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC) highlighted the events of ICPD on their blog and issued a follow-up post featuring an interview with CECP Executive Director, Charles Moore.
- Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship (BCCC) highlighted the activities of the Center's companies, including Alcoa Foundation, Campbell Soup Company, The Hartford Financial Service Group, and ITT Corporation in a blog post.
