Celebrating corporate giving.

On February 22, 2010, the corporate giving community will celebrate International Corporate Philanthropy Day (ICPD), building awareness of corporate-community partnerships and inspiring businesses around the world to engage further in philanthropy.

CECP is proud to lead this global effort to engage more business leaders in promoting the importance of corporate philanthropy. On this day, CECP offers a host of media-friendly events and works with partner agencies to publicize these programs and communicate the overall benefits and importance of corporate philanthropy.

For the second consecutive year, International Corporate Philanthropy  Day will include a special program on Philanthropy with the United Nations. This year's program will focus on "Engaging philanthropy to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment."

International Corporate Philanthropy Day is an opportunity to:

  • Tell your company’s philanthropy story on an internationally recognized day.
  • Further engage senior management, employees, and nonprofit partners in your giving programs.
  • Raise awareness of the important role of corporate philanthropy in fostering stronger relationships across sectors.
  • Publicize your company’s philanthropic initiatives, benefiting from the added media interest.
  • Enhance relationships with peers and thought leaders in the corporate giving community.
