ON NATIONAL CORPORATE PHILANTHROPY DAY
In recognition of National Corporate Philanthropy Day, salesforce.com built awareness of the crucial role of corporate philanthropy by sharing the company's 1% model of integrated philanthropy with employees, customers, and business partners.
The Salesforce.com Foundation has seen great success in the 1/1/1 model that invests 1% of time, product and equity in our communities. This company shared this model by:
- Building awarenss of National Corporate Philanthropy Day to our 1,000,000+ subscribers through an NCPD announcement on the salesforce.com homepage.
- Sending an email announcement to all salesforce.com partners from our CEO stressing the importance of corporate philanthropy and sharing our 1/1/1 model through our Power of Us for Partners initiative.
- Inviting employees to participate in multiple volunteering events taking place across the nation.

The Salesforce.com Foundation has provided tremendous support to the nonprofit sector through the use of its resources, people, technology and relationships, to improve the communities we touch.
