Several CECP-sponsored events took place on National Corporate Philanthropy Day.

At the 'Board of Boards' CEO Conference, CECP convened 40 CEOs and Chairpersons from Fortune 500 companies to participate in a roundtable discussion on The CEO's Challenge: Leading the Company, Shaping Society.
The Excellence in Corporate Philanthropy Awards were presented at CECP's annual luncheon. Two esteemed businesses receiveed an award in recognition of CEO leadership, measurement and innovation, and one nonprofit was presented an award for excellence in corporate partnerships.
The UN Economic and Social Council, in collaboration with the UN Office for Partnerships and CECP, presented a special program on "How corporate philanthropy can contribute to advancing the Millennium Development Goals, particularly for sustainable development." CECP CEO members and giving professionals attended this exciting cross-sector event.
The New York Stock Exchange Closing Bell was rung by the winners of CECP’s Excellence Awards in celebration of the tremendous impact of creative business models that benefit both society and business.
The Empire State Building was lit in blue and green, the colors of National Corporate Philanthropy Day.
