John C. Whitehead Summer Intern Program
The Board of Directors of the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy created the John C. Whitehead Summer Intern Program to honor and celebrate Committee Founding Director and Honorary Chairman John C. Whitehead for his outstanding leadership in corporate philanthropy.
Whitehead interns support CECP's programs and contribute to developing strategies and direction for the organization. Students work with private, public, and independent partners to elevate the level and quality of corporate giving.

CECP, recognized as an industry thought leader, is seeking an exceptional graduate-level summer intern to explore roles that CECP can play in encouraging greater adoption of Integrated Reporting practices among CECP’s CEO members. This position will report to Executive Director Charles Moore.

Priya Srivastava2011 John C. Whitehead Intern
As CECP’s 2011 John C. Whitehead Intern, Priya worked in partnership with corporate giving officers and industry thought leaders to identify the research topic that will guide CECP's 2012 calendar of programs. Priya is a Master in Business Administration candidate at the Harvard Business School, where she is actively involved in Social Enterprise business leadership.

Andel Koester
2010 John C. Whitehead Intern
As CECP’s 2010 John C. Whitehead Intern, Andel focused on advancing the groundwork for a global corporate giving measurement standard. Andel is currently a Master in Public Policy candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, with a concentration in Business and Government Policy.
Communications and Events Intern Program
CECP offers a part-time academic-year internship opportunity to graduate students interested in assisting with CECP's marketing campaigns, social media activities, public relations outreach, and member communications. The Communications and Events Intern also supports the planning for CECP's annual flagship events, including the Board of Boards CEO Conference, International Corporate Philanthropy Day, and the Corporate Philanthropy Summit.
2011-2012 CECP Communications and Events Intern
Sewon Bestman
As CECP's Communications & Events Intern, Sewon assists with media outreach, launching marketing campaigns, developing member communications and planning CECP's flagship events. Sewon received her Bachelor’s Degree from American University, where during her senior year she was a Communications Fellow on Capitol Hill, drafting official statements and press releases, and corresponding with groups, constituents and media outlets on issues related to healthcare, education and the environment. Sewon is a second-year graduate student at Seton Hall University pursuing a Masters in Strategic Communication.
